​TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DOG TRAINING SERVICES PROVIDED BY:
AB K9 TRAINING
These Terms and Conditions apply to all dog training services provided by AB K9 Training for booking a single session or a package of sessions.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
• “Consumer” – An individual booking services for personal use, as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• “Dog” – The dog you own and for which we provide training services.
• “Dog Training Session” – A scheduled training period at your premises.
• “Price List” – Our current pricing, available on our website or by request.
• “Professional Dog Training Guidelines” – Best practice guidelines published by the Pet Industry Federation.
• “Registration Form” – The form you complete to register for our services.
• “Regulations” – The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
• “Services” – Dog training services, including all related activities and materials.
• “We/Us/Our” – AB K9 Training, including any trainers we engage.
• “You/Your” – The client booking and receiving our services.
• “Your Premises” – The agreed location for the training session (typically your home, the park or the pavement).
2. Registration
• You must complete a Registration Form to apply for training services.
• You confirm that you are 18+ years old and a Consumer when registering.
• We reserve the right to accept or decline your application at our discretion.
3. Booking & Cancellation
• Sessions are subject to availability and must be paid in advance.
• Sessions must be used within 6 months of payment; packages must be used within 1 year.
• If you cancel at least 48 hours before a session, you can request a refund or rebook. If you cancel within 48 hours, we may charge you for the session unless rebooked at least 24 hours in advance.
• If we arrive but cannot start due to delays on your part (e.g., access issues) for over 30 minutes, we may cancel the session and charge for it.
• If we cancel a session, we will either reschedule or issue a refund.
4. Fees & Payment
• Payment must be made via bank transfer, online payment, or cash.
• Prices are subject to change, but increases will not affect already booked sessions.
5. Eligibility
• Services are only available to individuals who qualify as Consumers.
• You must be 18+ years old to register and book sessions.
6. Health, Safety & Legal Compliance
• Your dog must be healthy, fully vaccinated, and microchipped as per legal requirements.
• You must disclose any health, behavioral, or safety concerns about your dog before training.
• You must provide necessary items such as a collar, leash, harness, or muzzle.
• We may contact a veterinarian if we deem it necessary for your dog’s well-being.
• We follow the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and all relevant legislation.
7. Your Responsibilities & Warranties
You confirm that your dog:
• Is not suffering from a contagious illness.
• Is legally microchipped and registered.
• Is suitable for training based on disclosed behavioral and health conditions.
If any of these statements are untrue, we reserve the right to cancel sessions without a refund.
8. Training Services
• Training is conducted one-on-one unless otherwise agreed.
• Dogs will only be off-leash if you authorize it and we determine it is safe.
• We do not allow off-leash training on public highways.
• We maintain appropriate insurance for liability and injury.
9. Events Beyond Our Control
• We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control.
• If an event prevents us from providing services for over 4 weeks, you may cancel and request a refund for unused sessions.
10. Liability
• We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage due to our negligence.
• We are not liable for:
• Illness, injury, or death of your dog unless caused by our negligence.
• Damage or injury caused by your dog.
• Business losses or financial damages.
• Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Changes to Terms
• We may update these Terms and Conditions and will notify you where possible.
12. Complaints
• We welcome feedback and encourage you to contact us with any complaints.
13. Governing Law
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
• Disputes will be subject to the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, depending on your residency.

Individual Sessions
• Initial Consultation – £100 + VAT
• 1 Hour Session – £90 + VAT
Training Packages
• 5 Sessions – £440 + VAT
• 10 Sessions – £860 + VAT
• Puppy Course – £1260 + VAT
• Obedience Course – £1260 + VAT
• Advanced Training – £810 + VAT
• Reactive Dog Package – £1215 + VAT
